From a photo to a finished cake in four steps
Edible printing works exactly like printing on paper — the ink is made from food colouring and the paper is a thin sheet of icing. If you can print a photo, you can decorate a cake.

Load the edible ink
Slot the refillable edible cartridges into your Canon printer. The ink is food grade — a printer that has ever held regular ink can't be used for cakes, which is why the bundles include the printer.

Print onto a frosting sheet
Load an 8.5 x 11 frosting sheet into the paper tray and print any photo, logo or design straight from your computer or phone.

Peel and place
Peel the printed sheet away from its plastic backing and lay it onto buttercream, fondant or whipped icing. It settles into the surface on its own.

Serve
The image blends into the frosting within a few minutes. It tastes like icing, so the whole cake gets eaten — decoration included.
